Instrumental was created for the For Position Only alumni show at Mitchell Art Gallery. Inspired by a poem written by Dwennimmen (Shima Aisha Robinson), this work speaks to the fortitude and resilience of many displaced communities, including the Jamaican Maroons. ⁠
